ENJOY A VISIT TO THE GREYFRIARS

Built in 1480, with early 17th and late 18th century additions, this timber-framed house was rescued from demolition at the time of the Second World War and has been carefullly restored and refurbished; interesting textiles and furnishings add character to the panelled rooms; an archway leads through to a delightful garden - a haven of peace in the centre of a busy city.

Open : 3rd March to 18 December: Wed - Sat 1 - 5pm; Sundays in July & August 1 - 5pm; B H Mon 1 - 5pm. Last admission 1/2hr before closing.

Admission: Adult £3.20. child £1.60.

family ticket £8.00 (2 adults and up to 3

children). Parties by written arrangement.

For conservation reasons sharp heeled shoes

are not permitted in house. No WC's.
