KYRE PARK GARDEN AND SHRUBBERY
Kyre Park is a romantic 29 acre garden and shrubbery
laid out from 1754, now in the middle of restoration.
Five lakes, Waterfalls, Tithe Barn, Ruin, Norman Dovecote
etc.
Kyre Park is just off the B4214 four miles south of
Tenbury Wells and seven miles north of Bromyard.
Tea Rooms serve teas and snack lunches.
Coach parties welcome by appointment.
Guided tours available to parties of 20 or more.
Picnics Dogs admitted on lead.
Wheelchair access to much of garden depending on weather
Free car and coach park.
Kyre Park Garden houses what is probably the largest
collection of hardy ferns in the world including the National Collections
of four groups -
Dryopteris, Cystopteris, Thelypteroid and Polypodium.
The Polypodiums (Autumn Ferns) are at their best in the autumn.
